Also I see the Steelers apparently got double screwed yesterday, as both the potential fumble in OT went against them, and apparently the Chargers lined up in an illegal formation on the missed FG at the end of regulation.

To that I say...awesome. The Steelers have been the beneficiaries of many, many, many calls over the years, nice to see it go the other way.

Not a terrible QB among them.

It's going to be a real interesting playoffs.
I would say Roethlisberger and Stafford are better than a couple of them at least and probably would take Manning and Romo over a few as well, but they are all competent QB's that at the very least have done a good job of adapting to what their teams need them to be.

How unexpected was the Green Bay Packers' NFC North title?

Nearly half of their season-ticket holders didn’t bother to send in their playoff money.

Shortly after the Packers' 33-28 victory against the Chicago Bears on Sunday at Soldier Field, the team announced that approximately 40,000 tickets would go on sale Monday for the wild-card playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday at Lambeau Field.
Unheard of in GB.

Sounds like Jason Garrett will not be getting fired in Dallas and that it'll be co-ordinator changes. Cause that will make all the difference. Jerry should give himself a lifetime extension as GM.

No surprise IMO.

JJ just wont allow his maniacal ego to admit he made a mistake with Garrett in the first place.

Next year Cowboys fans...next year.

Redskins' candidate list likely to include Jay Gruden, Mike Zimmer, Lovie Smith. Redskins inquired through third party about David Shaw.

I hope the meeting with Schwartz this morning is just a nice way of letting him know that he is being fired. He should have been the first guy canned.

There can't be any way that the Lions bring him back can there?

The Ford family did keep Matt Millen far beyond best before date. They are notoriously loyal. I imagine Schwartz gets fired, but I could see him getting a reprieve.

Yup just a puppet. He's just there. He doesn't call plays, He doesn't touch the defense, he doesn't challenge anything, he doesn't argue with refs. He's just there.

I mean how can he not notice that the play clock jumped 15 seconds last night. That's what the head coach does. If freaking Al Michaels has a feeling that the clock seemed fast, how can the head coach not?

And with that Josh Freeman becomes the first QB in NFL history to get 2 coaches fired in the same season. Might be the only meaningful accomplishment of his career.
