2009 NFL Regular Season Thread

As hard as it has been being a Chiefs fan this season I have to say that I would be absolutely sick being a Broncos fan. After going 6-0 to get the fans hopes up, they go 2-7 (same record as the lowly Chiefs in the same time frame) to arrive at a must win on the final week of the season. In that game they meet an opponent that they blew out of the water a short month ago on the road and are struggling to put that opponent away at home.

Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamal Charles has rushed for 1000 yards on 179 carries. Since the Chiefs released Larry Johnson only Tennessee Titans RB Chris Johnson has rushed for more yards than Charles.

Yes DJ picks Orton to put the Chiefs up 10 (barring the extra point) late in the 3rd.

Cowboys haven't done so much to win this as the Eagles have just laid down and let them have it.

Some really surprising results thus far....that Denver game is stunning to me. Cant believe the Ravens cant put away the Raiders either. Though as i type this thye get a HUGE pick to the Raider 20...wait to go Jamarcus.

GB up 33-0 on the team they face next week...dunno if that is a good thing or not.

Im am flummoxed on what is going to occur in the playoffs....nothing makes much sense of late.

Filed to ESPN: Initial tests showed Patriots WR Wes Welker tore his ACL and MCL. He'll undergo more tests tomorrow to confirm.

Wow! The Broncos faithful are leaving Invesco Field in droves. Still 7 minutes left against one of the worst teams in the league. I guess the fans are giving up just like the players.

I can't believe that the Chiefs are going to lose me money today. Eliminated from my survivor pool on the final week of the season. Oh well, I'll take the win over the Donkeys spoiling their playoff dreams and ending their season by rushing for 308 yards so far today.
