Not sure how that compares to anywhere else, but 44% is pretty steep. I have family that are STH up there, and they were ALREADY complaining about gouging in the new arena for regular season games.
I would seriously die from laughter if they imploded and missed the playoffs.

The gotta pay for the garth banner and the 6 month celebrations somehow!

did it go something like "Are any of these other idiots going to actually do something, of are they going to sit there and watch me do everything.
Trade me right now"
Then did he do the double bicep McDavid flex and storm out doing 10 that right wow 10 crossovers?

That they're not missing the playoffs. Didn't you respond to me the 1st time I said that by posting a list of reasons for why they could still miss, or am I having a stroke right now?

I didn't realize I wasn't allowed to respond to more than one of your posts per day.
I know the league is doing all they can to get the Oilers a cup, but as far as I know they still have to play the games.
Talbot could get hurt and they'd have to run with Brossoit, but 99.3%.

Its funny because this is boiler-plate Oilers. New Gm, New Coach, New Wunderkind, same attitude.

“They know that we’re fans and we want to be part of it, and they just know that people are going to do it no matter what, whatever they got to do — sell a truck, a kidney, they’re going to make it work.”
Beck’s lower-bowl seat cost $163 per game in the regular season. That same seat will jump to $235 for the first round, as per the pamphlet mailed out to season ticket-holders last week and posted on social media:
Funny part is this is coming from a guy who apparently has enough disposable income to pay ~$7300/seat for his season tickets.

I think its perfect.
they punish their fans for a decade with the worst hockey in the history of ever and the fans hang on. Don't worry Pappa, someday the Oilers will make the playoffs and this will alllll be worth it and the Oilers will reward us
Then the Oilers finally get to the playoffs and the Oilers show how much they value their fans by punching them in the nuts with a huge increase.
Its a beautiful thing man.

That's one of the things I've learned as a season ticket holder, if things go well the playoffs will cost about as much as the regular season, so be prepared to shell out if need be.
Granted it's pretty easy to forget a piece of information you haven't used for a decade, but come on Edmonton, Google exists for a reason.

Our friend @ineffectiveMath lists the Oil with a 96% chance, the Flames at 88%
Barring an epic collapse, the Oil (and Flames) are in.

Jeepers, it's like This is Spinal Tap over at Sportsnet if that's the case. Seen a few of them pop up on their broadcasts lately.

Wonder if this is based on the 4 games the Flames lost to Edmonton. Was this taken into the account in his math equation. LOL
