If I wasn’t camping I’d be doing the same. AEW makes wrestling fun again, WWE is just painful to watch now.

Love that they got Ruby Riott (Soho) she's a great performer that got lost in the crowd.

Well there can be no complaints about the top end of AEWs roster anymore.
What a month for AEW

Omega - 37
Punk - 42
Bryan - 40
Cole - 32
Moxley - 35
MJF - 25
Allin - 28
Page - 30
Andrade- 31
Malakai Black - 36
That’s a pretty good top end of a roster, and really none of those guys are super old by wrestling standards. Especially with AEW schedule being a bit lighter.
Risk now is they probably need to get rid of some of the roster bloat they have.

Gotta give it up for Christian Cage tonight too, dude is 47 years old and wrestled an OUTSTANDING match with Omega. He put his body through hell, best Christian match I've seen in ages. Omega is just so damn good too.
Future wish: would love to see Samoa Joe make his way to AEW one day. He'd be a god there. His arrival would be as big as Bryan's.

Omega
Punk
Bryan
Cole
Moxley
Cage
Andrade
Pac
Miro
Eddie Kingston
Lucha Bros
Chris Jericho
Adam Page
Sting
Malakai Black
Cody Rhodes
Then you have the women's division with
Britt Baker
Ruby Soho
Thunder Rosa
Anna Jay
Tay Conti
Jamie Hayter
Nyla Rose
And then you have up-and-coming AEW brand talent like:
MJF
Sammy Guevara
Darby Allin
Jungle Boy
Orange Cassidy
Daniel Garcia
Wheeler Yuta
Ricky Starks
Then you have hot stables clearly over with the fans like:
The Elite
The Inner Circle
The Pinnacle
Dark Order
and a whole bunch of other young and hungry talent . . . .
AEW is just eons ahead of WWE in terms of talent, momentum, and booking.

His injury and WWEs use of him over the last year or two probably makes us downplay how big of an acquisition Daniel Bryan is.
He’s probably the most over wrestler in the WWE in the last 10 years.
Even when he first came back he got himself hated has a heel with his great “Environmental Bryan” gimmick.
Man it was electric when he came out. And that mix of Ride of the Valkyries was great.
You have to think AJ Styles is wishing he could be in AEW with all his pals right now too.

The biggest difference between WCW in the 90s and AEW now is that AEW is taking the guys that WWE wouldn’t push / reluctantly pushed.
WCW took Hogan, Nash, Savage, etc who were all guys that left WWE because they could get payed more, not because they were not fans of WWE style or something.
AEW though doesn’t seem to be about the money. Moxley, Punk, Bryan, Cole (I’m guessing the twitch stuff was a sticking point with a main roster contract), Jericho, didn’t go to AEW to chase money. They went for more opportunity and to be able to control their own creative.

I would love to be a fly on the wall at Raw tomorrow night. AEW took a huge step forward tonight. I love that they resisted the temptation to bring in Adam Cole as a face, though I could see that swerve coming a mile away.
I do think that AEW has to take a look at their roster size, I do think its way to big right now.
Competition is and should be good for both companies, but WWE has felt like its been on Auto Pilot for a while, with the announcement that BP and VKM are taking over NXT expect some major cuts to that roster.
I think the last WWE signing to AEW will likely be Bray Wyatt.

How weren't those guys pushed? They may have been reluctant to push them but they all main evented for years (Moxley less so).
I do think they should have done a big angle when they brought these guys in. They still have a chance on Wednesday. But it wasn't bringing Hogan, savage, nash, etc that gave wcw the big boost. It was the nwo angle.
Will still be interested to watch what they do.

I feel like those guys made themselves megastars for sure, but it was pretty much because they got so over on their own that WWE had no choice.
And even then with guys like Punk / Bryan at the first opportunity to push them back down the card they did so.
Not being pushed was the wrong terminology but those guys were never getting the Rock/Cena/Lesnar/Goldberg/Reigns treatment with WWE, and it seemed like they always had to continually prove themselves for whatever reason.
