Schneider putting his life in the line here with Hoffman.

Team never didn't have it, can't believe you guys are such negative nellies.
Sent from a park in north vancouver looking only at a box score.

Didn't want to jinx it, but that's a player's manager move right there....every guy on the team has to appreciate Hoffman getting the chance to redeem himself. (now that it's worked out)

Holy crap. They did it!
What a roller coaster. Going to take me awhile to recover and eat some of my earlier comments. This team is scrappy. But this really has been an ugly month of baseball and they're still hanging on to a 4 game lead.

Barger's double was feet away from a HR.

When Seranthony was in a bit of trouble in the 8th I thought in my head if he gets out of this without giving up a run they will come back and win. Couldn't post it or say it out loud cuz then it wouldn't have happened

Well this last 3.5 months proves the bats are there. But pitching and more the managing of the pitchers, starters and the pen. Leaving Bassitt in the extra inning and Lauer in to give up yet another HR this game, is 3 runs the offense had to make up for bad pitching management issues in the last 2 games, and that’s if you ignore the way they handled Hoffman yesterday when it was clear right away he was not ready.
Will be an ongoing issue.
Nance, as per the stats posted above and just the way he handles things, looks like he’s calm and comfortable and confident.
Already has a nice playoff beard.

Weird game. Hoffman's save got saved by a catch Straw made in the power alley that was sneaky good. I think less than 10% of RF make that catch, and that runner would have scored to tie it.
But part of the reason they were down was the Little League home run they let in. And that's offensive to little leaguers - my 11 year old's summer ball team plays more dialed in defense than the Jay's in the 4th.
Speaking of sneaky good, Davis Schneider with another 2HR game. He's been playing really well since getting called back up even with limited udage, his OPS is now .873 which is pretty good for a bench player. Vladdy's is .875...
