Go Panthers go!
I would love to see the Coilers shut out, but I'll take any regulation win the Panthers will deliver.
I want the national embarrassment that is the Coilers put away and the timeline restored.

I want this over tonight. VAN and DAL with no killer instinct. C’mon Panthers seize the day and put these pretenders down.

I’m torn. I do like seeing a team win the Cup at home. Just such a better atmosphere. But a thumping on the way to a sweep in their own barn? I’m here for that too.

On a 3 on 0 break away where Tkachuk does his between the legs shot. Connor and Drainsaitl still hadn't made it out of the Panthers end.

I think that, especially for those of us that live in "Oil Country", this can't end quickly enough. Please Panthers, just end this.
If it can be in spectacular fashion that is even better but either way, just do it.

Warm your brooms up, there could be reason to use them tonight!
I think I'm going to sweep the sidewalk of my neighbor. He's an Oiler fan and will probably be crushed if they lose tonight.

The Oilers haven’t been so dominant in a series since they got swept by the Jets.

I wonder how Knoblauch feels knowing that his NHL career will end about 10 seconds after McDavid departs the Oilers for a destination where he won't be recognized in public. Which leads me to my second point...
...make no mistake - that "beer run" situation clearly demonstrates why a guy like McDavid won't choose to play in a hockey market ever again. For it to happen was bad enough. For it to go viral was worse.
For it to happen in the presence of his significant other means he'll do anything to ensure it can't repeat.

In a way, it would be even more satisfying if it happens in the least spectacular fashion possible.
Say, a 3-1 game with no flashy plays, no heroics, just the Panthers going about their business like it was Tuesday night in Minnesota, and the Oilers not having an answer.

Been thinking about McDavids Beer run? Was this my the first indication they knew it wasn't gonna go their way?
And how stupid are you? Why not send a guy? Seriously no dial a jug, hug, hump in Edmonton in 2024.?
I find this hard to believe. But clearly an example of horrible leadership.
I remember Darryl locking the boys down for the playoffs to stay focused

Don't forget the "closest sweep ever" to the Avs two years ago.

Definitely want a blowout Panthers win. I want an Oilers team that is booed off the ice at intermission by their own fans. I want children crying in the stands. I want footage of fans getting up and leaving throughout the third period.
