This is why Youtube is so much better than Twitter at this. Besides not forcing you to log in to look around, they also force the ads on you before you watch the content. I have no idea what Twitter’s strategy here is, but I’m kind of interested in how the prediction of it becoming immensely valuable plays out.

I suspect this is a test for a few days or a week to see how many "viewer only" users they have and if they can entice new signups. I suspect that most people don't bother.

So what happened? Yeah I can't view tweets anymore either, but it appears I'm logged in and I check twitter regularly. I thought this only affected stagnant accounts...or is this something else entirely? What a mess lol

anyone else having problems with Twitter today? Whenever I try to load it in my browser, it just says "Something went wrong. Try reloading" ... and sometimes I even get a "Sorry, you are rate limited" message, whatever the heck that means.
