Part of it

Certain, uh, discriminatory features that quite clearly differentiate the upper class from the lower class here. (Very small middle class here)

... too many times today...
It is interesting that the majority of people who seem ######ed on the roads are driving less expensive vehicles.

...Never, ever be in a Sunfire's blindspot (or just try to avoid them at all possible costs), old crappy American car drivers are unpredictable and don't really have any sort of plan when to be in what lane, always let a truck into your lane because he's going to come in either way, and never follow a minivan on the highway...

Sort of.

Trucks and SUVs usually act like they own the road. The bigger they get the dumber the driver.

In fact now that I think about it there are so many driving stereotypes I don't know where to begin.

Blue collar men drive their trucks like morons. They make dangerous moves, they don't signal, they tailgate etc. Everyone knows that your big truck is making up for your little dick.

White collar people in fancy SUVs think that because they paid more for there vehicle they don't have to have common courtesy on the road.

Immigrants don't know what the speed limit is and can't merge.

Old people aren't familiar with how to turn off signal lights, or when to use them or what a speed limit is.

Women, especially middle aged women, have no regard for pedestrians. Yet when they are walking with those gargoyles they call children they'll just walk right into an intersection without looking and give me dirty looks for going 50 thru a residential zone.

Anyone under 20 is always speeding and weaving through traffic.

I could go on.

I find that in the Scotiabank Place parking lot of hell, the worst drivers are the ones in minivans. They either never let anyone in by tailgating the vehicle in front of them or they have no idea how to merge into the lane headed for the exit.

I think that's pretty common with Alberta drivers. You either take driving really personally (i.e. never let anyone merge into your lane, "you can merge after me") and if you feel the need to tailgate or "control" everyone else's speed... or you are the other 10%.

Probably because this thread had me thinking of chicken wings yesterday, I had some Our Compliments Chili & Lime wings from Sobeys tonight. I could taste some lime but I don't know where the hell the chili was. Tasted more like lime and black pepper. Still, they weren't bad.

There was a spot on the news here the other day about which vehicles are most often ticketed. The top 3? Hummers , hybrid vehicles and Mercedes. Apparently the drivers also have the worst attitudes . It seems to me that people who drive hybrids do happen to have some kind of self righteous attitude on the road. I used to think Beemer drivers were the worst. When I had one for awhile I kinda sympathized with them as it's easy to drive like an idiot in one of those.

I don't agree with the Beemer driver stereotypes. I've heard them all, arrogant, new money, blah blah blah. To me, its just a cute car that fits me perfectly.

I think the worst drivers aren't the cocky, superior, arrogant ones, but the soccer moms driving giant SUV's they can barely navigate. (I'm sure they're very nice people, but don't buy a car you can drive or especially PARK!)

I agree! Beemers are so much fun, really. I miss the one I had.
