That was much better. Clement has been a beast this week. There was an ‘Ernie’ chant and some Giants fans behind me were getting annoyed. I thought I was taping a Springer Dinger in its entirety but he just barely missed it.

Tonight I was sitting beside a woman from Toronto and the two people beside her were from BC. I met a woman last night in the elevator with her family who lives here but is from Saskatchewan.

I also met a family of Tigers fans today walking up Lombard street who told me they feel my pain this season all too well.

So in one day:

Garcia bullpen session pushed back
Tiedemann pulled with forearm tightness
Macko pulled from with forearm tightness
Varsho leaves game with knee injury
Bichette leaves game with calf soreness

Sounds like a great trip. Would love to get down there for a ball game. Great city and great park.

I am pretty much writing off Tiedemann at this point. Sure he is only 21 but he keeps getting injured and is probably gonna get TJ surgery so he will be gone until 2026. That's a lot of development time to lose.

Will be interesting to see what the Jays do by the deadline. They desperately need youth and prospects. Really, they need a whole bunch of everything. I would lean towards Keeping Vlad but would move Bichette. Plus I think he wants out. He has always been about the business. Reminds me of Tkachuk. Also move any pending UFA's as well. Will gut the team but they suck anyways so there's no point in re-upping anyone.

It's sure starting to feel that way. Exact same career trajectory as Pearson. Hyped up big pitcher with an electric arm. Injuries and poor player management derails the development. Pearson has seemingly found a little niche. But it would be sad if that's all Tiedemann amounts to as well.

Sometimes baseball looks so easy and you wonder why these bums can't do this more often.

And then a Jano bomb!

Love watching KK play outfield but his bat has become too much of a liability this season.

Good showing from the Jays. Young guys continue to play well. Really like Horwitz's approach at the plate. Hopefully the Jays hitting coaches do not get a hold of him. Jimienz looks to be a player as well. He can really square up a baseball.

Yeah, I got sunburnt pretty bad today though. And I ended up walking back to my hotel instead of calling a Lyft. One of my drivers told me to walk a few blocks rather than wait at the designated spot. I just followed the crowd looking for a quiet street that never came and when I realized it I was almost at my hotel so I just finished it.

I saw Keegan Matheson walk by Jen’s Diner on Sutter Street when I was having breakfast which was funny.

KK is a good guy and will land on a contender. You just can't have 3 or 4 bats like his in the lineup.
