Pathetic.
I can't remember which new poster it is for sure, but I think it's Trentcrimwhatever that used to do the Wall of Shame and I believe mentioned he'd be doing it again after the series to call out all the posters who were saying that it was all over and the Oilers would win the cup because they're just "too good". Looking forward to that!

I think that was his save percentage after game 1 and 2.

One win the next four and I would be immensely grateful to the hockey gods. A win tonight for the sweep would be perfection. Expecting the Oilers to win this one though, hope to be wrong

Honestly I will be the happiest guy alive if I'm wrong, but I just don't expect them to go out that easily. Oilers execution has been poor but they are getting a ton of shots and I just wonder if Bob can do it again 4x in a row. Said it before but they're like the monster/bad guy in an 80s movie to me, every time I relax a bit they surge back from the dead and I won't really relax until there is a stake through their heart. Made a deal with the hockey gods that I am gonna buy a Tkachuk Panthers shirt and rock it this summer if they get the job done.

But watching chucky lift the cup in Edmonton honestly would be about the next best thing I can think of to the Flames themselves having success.

Bobrovsky stole Game 1. The last two were team wins, Florida played well.

All I've heard today from Oilers fans and the media, is that the Oilers have played great hockey, and they're the better team. Its a lie, and a big lie, Sure the Oilers have had more shots, and they've had more "scoring chances", though the Panthers right now own the middle of the ice, and own the boards and don't allow silly things like rebounds. But even without the fancy stats, the super awesome hockeytron 10000, can look at the basic stats and see, that the Oilers are generously the second best team on the ice.

Lets take note of a few things.

the PP, the big advantage for the Oilers through the regular season and into the playoffs, have been one of the biggest reasons for success. Conventional d'uh wisdom says if you shut down the Oilers play, they're not a scary team. Guess what, the Panthers are perfect.

Give aways, the bane of every coach. If you give away the puck, it leads to 5 alarm scoring chances against you, and it completely disrupts your offense and your breakouts. While guess what, the Panthers are killing the Oilers there.

Take aways, another disruption, and we've seen that the Panthers' are wizards at taking away the puck , and going to the counter punch.

Hits, over a series wear teams down, its science. We'll the Panthers are the more physical team, and I expect we're going to see the effects of that tonight.

Face offs, a huge stat, especially if your winning in your own end and not letting teams set up. Guess what, yup, the Panthers are better.

The 3-0 series line is the biggest indicator. The Oilers top 6 has gone home in this series. in competitive time the Oilers have scored 3 goals in 3 games, When the Panthers went to prevent the Oilers scored 2 when the game was basically our of reach. Meanwhile we've seen that the Florida's top 6, are just dominating on both ends of the ice. so to sum up

Special teams Florida >Edmonton
Goaltending Florida >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Oilers
Blue line Florida >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Oilers.
Bottom 6 forwards >>>>>> Oilers
Top 6 Forwards Florida>>>>>>>>>>>>Oilers
Physicality Florida>>>>>>>>Oilers
Attention to details (protecting the puck, face offs) Florida >>>>>>>>>>>>>>Edmonton.

So I'm going to say no, the Oilers are not the better team, Yes the Oilers deserve where they are now. No the refs aren't screwing the Oilers, yes The Oilers are going to lose.

I'd like to close off by thanking the crack team of NHL programs who created the hockeytron 1000, especially considering that its platformed on a Commodore Vic 20.

Yeah Oil will win tonight but then lose game 5. Regardless there is not a chance of winning 4 in a row against the Panthers when they haven’t beat them all year so, nighty night Coilers.

Nah, MT, will go complete ahole mode knowing he can win the cup in Edmonton's barn in front of their fans.

He'll score 2 goals and an assist.

Florida will score quickly in the first period to take a 2-0 lead, and visions of a Monday Golf date, and the hopelessness on most of that team when they realize that Draisaitl and McDavid are big phonies will make the Oilers fold their tents.

Then Draisaitl will demand a trade during the post game press conference.

And it will be

This is exactly what I expect tonight from that classless group. Complete mayhem.

And while I hope nobody gets hurt, I am really looking forward to it.

If the Panthers score first tonight, I think the Oilers will fold like a cheap tent. Regardless of what happens though, there’s no way in hell the Oilers are winning 4 straight against this Panthers team.

Predictions

GAME 4 ZOOMS in on the bench of the oilers and you see deer caught in thr headlights expressions NOT faces focused with determination

Behind the bench coaches are wearing brown suits. They show the injured/ scratched/ ENG oilers up in the injured players box. Kane walking around busting out gang signs pimping a huge gold chain but not with the oil drop just with a pair of gold truck nuts and wearing the very same track suit Byfuglien tossed Into the showers In Winnipeg because it's a custom made track suit.

Perry meanwhile is in the corner of the room sitting in a rocking chair wearing his gear because Knob told him I want you to be ready ....we need you....he's wearing his
07 Ring and is rubbing it and calling it his precious....telling his ring ....I already gots it...even though no one likes you Cory switching back to his alter ego and then back again.

The anthem is sung by the crowd in a special moment ....will this moment be the hope Kelly Hrudey spoke of ? The Broadcast team lead by Ron M is sitting and listening to Ron curse under his breath...please please don't make me to be the fool....Connor you must put this team on your back and get credited for more assists ...you deserved this.

Meanwhile the Panthers bench is all business. Those droopy bags under Maurices eyes are dark aren't as dark today and there's a smirk on his face.

Both Bennett and Tkachuk are side by side on the bench and Maurice bends over and says something...neither player blinks, smiles ....instead Bennetts beard grows thicker and Matt's mouth piece breaks in half....the trainer has one ready immediately....throws it into the air and Matt catches it In his mouth.

The puck is dropped and suddenly the sound of Steve Armitages voice erupts....he could go all.....but the panthers score , the arena is so quiet you could hear a pin drop ....but then a sound .....something is floating towards the ice....but the game just started???

Suddenly the side of the arena explodes .....the dust clears.....and there he is....the Kool aid man.....and he says 2 words.....oh yeah!!!
