Depends. Are we talking about the 'packed bar' that I read about from some right wing sites that was outside that didn't look all that packed? Was she following rules? Doesn't she have family in Florida?
This is where it's tricky. She was following all rules, which in Florida there are practically none, but she's been bashing those lack of rules.

Should we dunk on politicians who are hypocritical about covid measures? If they’re on the other team, then absolutely yes. Those scum make me sick. If they’re on my team, then it’s a nothingburger distraction from real issues. Because that’s how politics work in 2022.

I'm normally ok with AOC since she's toned down her rhetoric aimed at other democrats.
She set herself up in this case and then made things worse with Twitter battles.
Florida has been obviously awful in their handling of COVID, and it's a pretty bad look to leave NY in the omnicron surge to go live it up in Florida. I've personally avoided Florida trips this year out of principal based on how intentionally atrocious their handling of COVID has been.
This Tweet was a fair shot at her, that she definitely left herself open to it.
Then her responses about where Desantis was when I guess he was with his wife dealing with breast cancer.
It all works to backfire against the messages her (and other) governors are trying to get out.
And this was all after she got in the weird twitter battle over her boyfriend's feet and replying that all the old republican men just want to date her.
She's definitely helping herself or her agenda this week.
Did she do anything in Florida that she’s currently been lobbying to be restricted in NY? Pretty sure you can still rent a hotel room and eat on a patio in NY right now. Just because she criticized Florida’s handling of covid, she’s never allowed to visit ever again lest she’ll be a hypocrite?
And yes, the republicans who creeped on her and her boyfriend deserve to be called out for being creeps.

Has she been publicly outspoken against vaccinated people taking their masks off whilst eating outside at restaurants? I'm not seeing the hypocrisy.

That's true in how people will react, but its just a case of entrenched people agreeing or disagreeing with other entrenched people. Means nothing in terms of who win elections.

She’s been outspoken about Florida being irresponsible by staying open for business while states like New York imposed pandemic restrictions. And yet she’s happy enough to take a vacation there.
I personally don’t care. But can you imagine if Doug Ford or Jason Kenney were photographed partying on Florida patios right now? The vitriol and twitter-memes would by flying.

Not sure what the issue is. Why shouldn’t current and former representatives treat one another civilly?
You might be cool with someone who had a significant role in the murder, torture, and dismemberment of hundreds of thousands of people being welcomed back into decent society. I personally am not.

But she's currently abiding by the same restrictions she advocates for in NY.

A more apt equivalent would be if Michelle Garner was photographed in Florida, and I think most people wouldn't give a ####.

Those Democrats live in the messy real world. One that requires elected leaders to do more than strike starkly virtuous poses for their social media followers. Do you think Bill Clinton refused to shake hands with Henry Kissinger, or Obama hasn’t shared a few amiable drinks with George W?
Opposing politicians treating one another with civility is a hallmark of healthy democracy. Once that’s out the window, all that’s left is fighting in the streets.
If you think people like Cheney are anathema, you should probably resign yourself to the fact that no American presidential administration will ever meet your moral standards.

Then they shouldn't be acting as if these people represent existential threats and/or are morally repugnant people while they're in office. Either they are what the Democrats portray them as, and as such should not be afforded the kind of admiration they have been, or it's political theatre and as such there's no reason to take the Democrats seriously when they make those claims about anyone.

Hey, driveway, do you mind popping in here to educate Cliff on what a false dilemma is?
