I was happy with the win, but not only was it a dead crowd at the game, but they flashed over to show Dallas fans watching on T.V. and it was like "We won yea" Even the floor celebration was dead.

Good for Dallas they were just the better team in all ways, and Miami just couldn't come to terms with the fact that its not always the team of super stars that wins.

I was really soured with James over last years ego fest with the T.V. special and then the over the top wrestlemania introduction to Miami.

I'm betting that there will be a lot of finger pointing at James tommorrow in the paper.

It also goes to show how important bigs are in the NBA. Chandler isn't a superstar, but it was one of the major advantages Dallas had over Miami.

Congrats to Peja Stojakovic on getting a ring! One of my all time favorite NBA players!

I heard he is going to pursue a career in Hockey. When asked why he said they only play 3 periods...

No way are they going to win 8 titles. They should win a couple though if they keep the team together.

I hate it when leagues give the trophy to the owner. The players are the ones who won it.

Does Cuban go out and buy the Stars now?
Meh, the founder of Mavs were given the trophy, no big deal. As for the as the owner, Cuban showed how much he cares for his team and credits the team and coaches by saying go interview Ric Carlyle and Dirk etc.

Congrats Dallas Mavericks.

Wonder if there is any chance of Spoelstra being shown the door even though his team made it to the finals.

I know Phil Jackson might be "retired', but if the Miami owners load up a dump truck full of money, could they coax him out of retirement?

He won 6 with the Bulls, 5 with the Lakers, will his "arrogance" and confidence lead him to believe he can win a few quick titles with the Heat? It would shock me if it does happen, but I bet some of the media might be asking the same question in the weeks to come.

The best part is after the lockout and hardcap rupaul or ledaddy might get traded, so the wack 3 will be no more.

Lakers will win next title.

Q. Does it bother you that so many people are happy to see you fail?
LeBRON JAMES: Absolutely not. Because at the end of the day, all the people that was rooting on me to fail, at the end of the day they have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life that they had before they woke up today. They have the same personal problems they had today. I'm going to continue to live the way I want to live and continue to do the things that I want to do with me and my family and be happy with that.
They can get a few days or a few months or whatever the case may be on being happy about not only myself, but the Miami Heat not accomplishing their goal, but they have to get back to the real world at some point.
hard to think that he could become any more unlikable before tonight, guess he did accomplish something

The best thing about a Canuck fan dissing on the Heat is that the Canucks are the Heat of the NHL. everyone wants them to lose and we can't wait to see burrows or kesler crumple in tears after the game 7 ot loss.

What, so a Nuck fan can't comment about another team in another sport in a non-hockey forum without getting a driveby putdown? I hate the Nucks too but that was uncalled for Bertuzzied. Just goes to show that you don't have to be a Canuck fan to be petty/obnoxious.

Phil has some pretty serious health issues, I don't think you will see him coach again - then again it's Phil Jackson.

If I had to guess there's a 25% chance of seeing him coach again - the travelling is too much for him
