I thought it was a good opener, not great, but good. 12 more episodes? Seems like they could wrap this up in 3 or 4, but at least there is an end in sight. I have enjoyed the show but it's time is done. Why can't people learn from Breaking Bad? Even that show knew it was expired and still ended in 5.

Thanks. That's where I was looking for it, but my Shaw guide says it will be a repeat, 8:00 Tuesday night on channel 285. I'll PVR it, as Shaw cannot be trusted.

Yeah, I imagine that it was his son or a blood relative. You don't cry like that when your hired muscle dies. Sucks that Jax had this plan in place and then it gets ruined because he didn't know it was guy's son/loved one. If he just hadn't used that shot gun...

The new Sheriff annoys me already. I think I just don't like the actress, going back to the X-Files. It also makes me laugh that we started the show with an old white dude as sheriff then moved to young black dude, and now we've reached female. Very inclusive.

Can I just say how little I care about Wendy? Can we get less Wendy? That whole scene with her and Niro in the car just seemed like a waste of time. I know it's development and all that jazz, but I don't care.

The music needed to go like 5 seasons ago. Just not any good and generally serves no purpose. Also maybe it was just my foggy memory but that episode seemed to have more racism than usual (such as RoboCop calling the waitress a wetback to her face). Show has always had a bit of it in there but it seemed to be really high Tuesday.

Definitely more overt racism.

They hinted in the first seasons that the club wasn't entirely welcoming of other colours, and in Juice's whole breakdown about having a black dad, but they seem to have ramped up the racism this season. 'Wetbacks' and 'pile of dead slants' were both used last episode.

As for the music, the only song they used this season that I outright did not like was the Bohemian Rhapsody. For me, it's on par. They've had songs I've liked and songs I didn't. I wish they would stop using Katie Sagal's songs though.

sooo ... can we stop calling the main character Jax now? We should call him Clay from now on because that's what he's become. I've lost count of the betrayals, lies and deceits already and we're only 3 episodes in.

So I'm definitely rooting for August Marks to be the last man standing. One of the few not totally hateable characters on the show. I honestly hope everyone dies except Chibs, who rides off into the sunset with his new cop lover. Dream scenario for Gemma's demise is to be killed by Abel.

So Sons has a lot of issues but the one that annoys me the most is the law enforcement in it. Those two cops get shot and no one notices the fresh bike marks on the trail? Likewise if two cops got shot like that the FBI would be swarming all over Charming. And with that end of episode massacre now the National Guard should be in there. Instead it'll all be brushed aside quickly.

Also lol at the Courtney Love cameo.

I can't imagine they kill her off now. I think they still need her around for the moment.

I was torn on the last episode. There were some cool parts, like with Gemma and Juice. It's interesting seeing Juice fall apart.

It seemed a little hokey to me though, Jax fighting the Chinese guy in the street. Jax is bad ass, but damn, that just seemed forced.

I hate the new Sheriff still and her relationship with Chibs. She keeps on about the Feds are all over her about the massacre and yet, you never really see them.

That last episode was such a wasted opportunity for a real shocker if Juice actually finished Gemma (it's not gonna happen to start the next episode). Because watching it unfold I gave it a -100% chance of happening, so I would have been legitimately stunned if it happened. I do think Juice has to be the one to reveal the truth about Gemma though.

Anyone still keeping up with this?

I just watched last week's episode and liked it. I feel like the last two episodes left you thinking, "Oh, it's going down now!" but then didn't really give much in the next episode. Like Juice having Gemma like that and then opening with her just walking. Somewhat anticlimactic.

I hope after last week with Juice and Jax that the next episode is really big. I somehow don't see Juice coming clean about what happened with Tara, so I don't think Gemma's outed that way. I see either Wayne or Nero figuring it out. I feel like they suspect something isn't right with her story. And after she broke down with Nero, he has to think something isn't adding up.

Looking forward to seeing how it goes down. Not much time left.

Any bets on who lives and who dies?

I agree with you about Juice. I think when he admitted to NEro that he's a coward it paved the way for this to be way for him to go out with courage. Who knows though.
