haha I do remember killing you last night. That server got bad towards the end of the night, too many dbags camping spawn and the teams were unbalanced.

I havent used my mic at all. I should, though I had trouble getting it working on CS source last time I tried.

I'm not that great, I usually put up a decent score if my team is capable, but quite often they suck and I struggle.

The stats thing in my signature seems to be behind. My K : D is higher than its showing and my hours played is less than the game claims.

i'm at the point now where i can usually keep a positive K/D ratio regardless if my team sucks or not, which is nice. makes the game a lot less frustrating to play. that's playing on hardcore though, where i can mow down several people in a row and go on nice killing sprees. can't seem to do that on regular with how much more damage people can take

I played for my first time in over a month yesterday. Wow... this is hard. I'm also finding the walking across the map for 30 seconds to find the battle is annoying. My group that I'm put in is always dead. And the other half of the team are just sniping at the hill.

Mines usually positive also. If I have a decent team I can usually put up a 2+ k-d. I've played a few hardcore servers but its hard to find one that isnt always full.

It was pretty brutal at times when you'd spawn and there's an Abrams tank right there firing away at you. No time to even change your wepon. It happend twice while I was playing... Killed the bugger the first time with the tow launcher.

Not to mention being on the losing side for about 5-6 rounds in a row. We finally won one just before I logged off.

I haven't decided to get this game or not. Sounds complicated. I might rent it and see how it is before I get it. I heard that you can't kneel or lay in a prone position in the game.

You can kneel, just not lay prone.

Which is good. Prone in an action FPS is the dumbest crap ever.

You should buy it. The Battlefield series are the most fun shooter games out there.

Prone would be awesome if they added it in a patch. The game doesn't suffer because it doesn't have it, but it'd be a nice feature.

Prone would be lame. Its hard enough at times to spot people plus we don't need everyone playing recon.

I don't think there is any difficulty in the current game spotting people. In fact, it's pretty much too easy to spot people. There are very few decent hiding places. Any sniper can get easily counter-sniped.

I disagree, on the jungle maps its hard to see a well hid sniper.

The thing is, is that on some jungle maps, unless the sniper is following the shoot and move tactic (which 90% don't follow) it's usually 1 or 2 kills before counter-sniping actions are taken. Also with all of the sniper rifles tracers, it's pretty difficult to stay in one cubby-hole for too long. Also as maps become more well known and practiced, the usual sniping positions are given away and the game changes once again.

Also most of the awful snipers don't bother to switch to their pistols every now and then to take a look at their surroundings, making them easy knife meat.
