Yeah, I dabbled in it and made a timer as a 'hello world' style project. It felt really painful. I have also heard that the Blackberry app store is a bit of a rip. Wow, I still have a couple of territories up there. All it takes is one drive down Anthony Henday to claim those territories for two weeks?

I am starting to think that Crazykanuk does not have a job and just follows people around Edmonton taking back territories. I cannot wait for the alliance feature to come out.

What about the idea of being able to "sell" some resources to pick up others? I have crazy amounts of some resources that I will never be able to use, and consistently run low on others. You could do a 2to1 or 3to1 ratio...

I think we're just going to try to balance the resources better. The nice thing about the way we've set this up is that for attacks and resources, we're able to adjust the costs "on the fly" without having to submit a new update.

I have more Food, Supplies, and Manpower than I'll ever be able to use. Gold I could use up if I all of a sudden went Nuke happy.

My suggestion for the game would be to add more types of attacks.

I couple of braintorm ideas for attacks:
Something that would remove 3 (roughly) troops from everyone in that territory.
Something that has the potential to backfire - i.e. 90% of the time it hits the targetted army, but the other 10% of the time it hits your own army.
Something that kills either 1, 10, 100, or 1000 troops, and is picked at random, obviously not equal probabilities.
Something that attacks a neighbouring territory somehow.

There is countless 500/600 troop armies in my way of taking more territories, but not enough for a nuke so I wish there was an attack for the 300-900 area

Well I've lurked this thread on a few occasions. I remember when it first appeared I had a lil question:
How newbie friendly is this game? I don't really feel like being a new nation constantly being bombed by the big dogs who have had this game since day one.

I just saw that this game is 1/2 off right now for $1 (half the reason I never bought it in the past).
I think I'm going to try it out, if it sucks I expect my $1 mailed back to me, and at least 10 people thanking this post.

You're not going to rule the world in a couple days but you'll be able to gain a few territories quickly. There's a lot of people playing in Calgary so territories are changing hands all the time.

Unfortunately with the way the territories are setup the 2 places that I go to on a daily basis are within the same territory, so I don't know how many I will territories I will be owning in the future.

One way I would suggest to grow this game is to get your own website and forum dedicated to this game. I would imagine that this thread will continue as puckers like to talk about the game & their territories, but non-puckers also will like to talk about the game and the more talk (I would imagine) = the more people will play on a daily basis and thus tell more of their friends. (I assume Republic of Awesome is a non-pucker who joined here just for this game)
