yea, xbox live matchmaking is messed up bad since the new patch. I have rarely got into the type of game i want to play, and been put into private matches.... they better patch this quickly, its damn annoying

I have a question. I'm not sure if it's specifically a COD2 thing or if it's an Xbox live thing. Lately I've been playing online with my cousin and brother. We join an Xbox live party so we can talk to eachother without having to listen to the other guys in the game. That said, I keep getting kicked out of the party while we are playing. The other 2 can hear eachother fine but with me it's in and out and I'm breaking up all the time.

Is there something I can do with my Xbox to fix this problem?

For MW2 they disabled party chat to encourage talking between your team and to discourage cheating. Kinda lame since I don't like listening to 15 year olds calling everyone gay and stuff like that.

if you are only playing with one friend you can go to private chat so you kinda have a party chat going on. Me and a friend of mine do that all the time.

Also, you can change your chat settings on xbox.com. You can set it up so you only receive voice chat from friends. That way, when you are playing as a party with friends, you only hear them. Voila!

Ran into a clan last night who were exclusively using the care package glitch with the tactical knife attachment. If you think it's hard taking out one guy running at you with the marathon perk - try it five guys hunting in a pack. It really took the fun out of it - except for the odd time when all five would wander into your claymore.

havent seen this done .... but sounds like it would be awesome to see if they ran into your claymore. Also would be cool if they didnt you see just set a sentry gun and it mowed all of them down at once!

That's happened to me a few times. IW really needs to patch this game fast with all the a-holes in multiplayer. Most games I play are fine, then I'll run into one where it is just filled with a-holes, then they talk smack after the game.

I also play Highrise, which is a shame because I think it's one of the better maps. I played for 3 hours the other night and not once played Highrise, but I played Invasion about 6 times (the map sucks too). Gets annoying playing the same matches over and over.

Anyone know what the difference between holographic and red dot sights are?

Honestly, I'm not sure as to why the holographic sight is considered better...does it zoom in a little more? The one really big drawback of it is if you get EMP'd, your sight is gone. The red dot is always there though.

They look identical to me haha. Maybe I don't play enough. I've also never gotten EMP'd before.

the holographic dot shows where your gun will shoot when moving, so for example if turning the corner the red dot will show where the gun is going to go

Oh yeah I forgot about that haha. I guess I'm just nowhere near good enough for that to make much a difference. I'll either have unloaded on the guy or have been shot long, long before the sight's movement helps me haha.

Yeah agreed. But I absolutely suck. Getting 4 kills is like winning the stanley cup for me. So rare and when it happens it's glorious!

I only play hardcore. I hate having to unload a whole clip into someone when you play core.

I always have ninja pro and Coldblooded pro on.

Either use a barret with a thermal scope and silencer with one claymore or a Barrett with a silencer and scavanger on. Nice to be able to plant 2 claymores and no one can see you.

Most of the time I run around with ACR with grenade launcher and silencer or scavanger. You can really tear it up with that.
