There is still a veteran player that has not been picked that I have my eye on. Great player in the past and it could be a good year for him. Lets hope that he is still around when my next pick comes up.

This is when things get really interesting. There are a few guys still out there that have traditionally put up good numbers, but this is now the time when we are all hoping to get this years Eric Staal.

I am starting to do some serious research for the later rounds... from now on is where the pool is won and lost... the dark horses.

I would've taken Hasek if he was there for me in this round.

Hasek has the potential to be low risk and high reward.

^^Yeah I was really surprised he lasted this long. You figure Detroit will have a good team...maybe not as good as before but still above .500. As long as Hasek stays healthy he should gain Nehkara a lot of points. At this point in the draft great value pick.

Thanks.
I looked at their roster and while there are some parts missing from previous years, they still have a lot of very good players and are very likely to make the playoffs.
Also, say what you will about Hasek but he was tremendous last year before going down to injury... so as long as he can stay healthy he should be beneficial to my pool.

I was planning on taking him as my second goalie.
I also wanted Ohlund. I was hoping he would stay until my pick.
Samsonov slipped through the cracks......

Same here... he was easily the best goalie available at this stage. Could get 30 wins playing 50 games.

Obviously Hasek can get points if he stays healthy, but he is just too injury prone for my liking.
I'll give credit for taking a risk that could potentially fetch some nice points, but I just don't see him being too healthy for too long.

I'm soooo mad at you KOOTS! You stole my goalie that I'd figured on not worrying about till next round.
Man......GREAT pick. (imo) at the very least, if he doesnt get injured, he'll play alot of games. Shat.
Not really any goalies worth picking anymore. (that'll win)
I guess I'll just have to take whats left.
SHOOT (sneaky, sneaky)

3 hour limit only starts after 8 am, so Mango's got another 1.5 hours.
