JTF2 is one of the few things Canada is actually really good at, easily the equal of the US, obviously not enough of them to win but they would give the US a bloody nose

JTF2 is a respected and top tier group.

It can and does hold it's own when measured against any other Nation's SF.

Further, standard Canadian grunts out score their NATO counterparts time and time again in competitions.

Whether JTF2 could do it or not we definitely shouldn't be kidnapping/killing the leaders of other countries.

Especially in the case of the US (even though they do that stuff) because if we did they'd immediately use that as an excuse to invade.

I was reading an article on Canada's role in Afghanistan several years ago and their partnership with the US (wish I could find this article again)... apparently the US had to tell JTF-2 to ease up and slow down a bit, they were too damn effective at their assignments. Same article quoted members of Delta Force (or one of those American spec ops groups) saying if they had to pick one other foreign unit to go into battle alongside, it would only be JTF-2 - high praise for sure. JTF-2 is one of the most elite special ops forces in the world.
