Bill Zito is the guy who put the Panthers in the position for veteran players like Marchand and Tarasanko to choose to go there. So yeah, it's pretty easy but Zito is the one who made it easy.
that was dirty AF. Its early so he probably just gets this game...took about 2 seconds to confirm the major. Running a guy from behind is never a hockey play you are responsible and have to let up there.

Sam Reinhart, Sam Bennett, Carter Verhaeghe, Anton Lundell and even Matthew Tkachuk aren't geography moves. Tkachuk was heavily thought to be moved to St Louis until Florida came up with a better deal (that included no land transfers). Tarasanko and Marchand aren't geography either, they wanted to go to a contender.

Slow it down to .25 speed and watch. Blake slams the brakes on 3 feet from the boards, while he's crouched down, and tries to lean back into Lousty. Lousty rolls off to the left trying to avoid contact.
I don't know why Blake stopped up the way he did, probably cause he's tired of getting hit, but the way it turned out was more on him than anything else.

I’m cheering for FLA but that was absolutely a 5 min on the Panther even if not fully intentional (not going to embarrass myself trying to spell his name). Glad Blake is ok. And that was an awful call against the hobbit on the crosscheck against the canes . So that’s 2 min and equivalent to what nurse did? Joke.

Yeah....I dont like blaming the guy who got hit but...you're a defenceman. You've gotta ride that hit. Yeah, that'd still be likely 2 minutes for boarding because that was a hard hit, but you gotta ride it.
Hitting the brakes at the end is just going to make things worse. The forechecker thinks he's just going to finish his check and then you just try and stop? Thats not gonna go as well as you think it will.
Still a penalty all day long, and possibly even still 5, but in terms of getting hurt? You gotta ride that hit.
