Half C cuts from the red line in, hilarious.

Not that I follow the Oilers, but his worst game of the year.

Worse than the game against Boston when he was 0 goals 0 assists and +1?

Most Oiler fans would rather the game with 2 points.

He gave Skinner a Conn Smythe vote...after almost losing them round two and letting in a weak goal that lost them the cup final

This year is +17

Spec sez:
Somehow, almost every single important player on this team is having a worse season this year than they had last year.

Somehow? geez Spec this is a feature of the team you guys all drooled over in the offseason, every key returnee or new acquisition other than Bouchbomb and the big 2 (who are now 28 and 29) are over 30. this was nearly inevitable

Oldest team in the NHL lets their youngest players walk, and signs a bunch of even older guys...

"somehow, almost every player... is having a worse year than last year".

Somehow? They're all in their 30s, and the (little bit of) youthful energy that did exist last year, was ripped away. Literally everyone outside of Edmonton and Sportsnet saw this coming.

You wonder how people can be so oblivious, but then you remember, indoctrination can be a wild-ass drug sometimes.

Imagine a player that was getting moved for future considerations. Receiving team said…that’s not enough. Ok…how about you get a second rounder for future considerations, and we’ll throw in a player? Hmmm sounds good.

Fast forward a season and now that same player is worth a first round pick? And UFA after next season.

Seems no good!

My theory is, the Oilers are getting rid of all their picks so they don't have to participate in the stupid draft. Now that it isn't live anymore, Katz and his kid can't even embarrass their picks onstage. What fun is that?

Bonus is that they can cancel Kevin Lowe’s hockey news subscription! Don’t need that around any more. Although it was helpful for picking up after mcdavid’s dog. Hmmm…I wonder if that’s where the oilers “how to play defense” manual went?

Coil with another game where they need the powerplay, OT and McD to play 27 minutes to beat a non playoff team.

McD with 2 pts and 0 +/- like usual.
