Yeah I have no issue with the call.
However, same stripes watched the assault on Zary and jammed his whistle up his ass instead of making the right call. Then 3 straight on Flames

Booooo!
Can't fault the effort at all. Flames played a great game tonight against a tough team on a hot streak. Jets were very fortunate with all those PPs in the 3rd.
This loss is on Kadri and the crappy PP. Oh well. Onto the next one.

It’s been a fun game against the top team in the league, the Flames are definitely not the bottom feeders they were predicted to be at the start of the season. No complaints.

Frustrating when Zary gets injured on a highstick and then later from a crosscheck and no call on either.

In the end special teams are the difference
Flames didn't capitalize on their PPs and the Jets did
Don't love the call on Kadri at the end but by the book it's a slash

Games are always managed to some extent. And usually when a team kills off a 5 on 3 late in a tie game, the whistle go away for a bit for that team, otherwise the reffing looks slanted.
They opted for slanted and spoiled a great tightly contested game.
Next time that situation comes up you won't see a third call against the same team in that situation. Someone had a bone to pick with the Flames leadership group here I think, otherwise you don't see that last call.
It's really too bad and the game deserved better than to be decided that way.
