Everett just defeated Seattle in OT to level their series 1-1

Haha Weisblatt and Ritchie both pass it with a chance at a hattrick into the empty net, McKenna says fine I'll take it

McKenna has 8 points in thr 1st two games but IMO it should be 9 as he touched the puck prior to Pickfords empty netter in game 1

This Tigers team is really clicking and they genuinely seem to enjoy playing for one another. A couple of defensive lapses last night that the Broncos capitalized on, but overall another solid effort.

Also, Harrison Meneghin made a couple of huge saves when the score was 4-3 in period 3, the Broncos tie it and it could have been a different outcome.

They are clicking on all cylinders yep.

Counting these two playoff games they are on a 30-3-3 run since the mid point of the season and are over +100 in goal differential in those games.

And they've been missing Lindstrom and Basha through it all and had a dozen or so games missing two of their top 3 D men as well, during that time they were sometime dressing 11 forwards and playing a forward on D lol

Not much of a game at the Dome this afternoon. Saskatoon could have lost 10-1 but the Hitmen missed the net on some grade A chances.

Lots of scouts watching the game today.

Crazy game at the Langley Events Centre between Spokane and Vancouver earlier tonight. Spokane had a 6-0 lead going into period 3, the Giants score 5 goals in period 3 and had a late PP to try to tie the game. The Chiefs ice it with an empty netter though to take it 7-5.

Broncos lead 4-3 after two periods and have chased Harrison Meneghin halfway through the game as Jordan Switzer is not between the pipes. Not a great night for Harrison, but hopefully his teammates can bail him out with a big 3rd period.

Terrible ni goal from the refs too when the Tigers made it 2-1, or at least should have made it 2-1

Canes win game 3 against Brandon to take a 3-0 stranglehold.

Hitmen about to do the same to the Blades.

Speedy Creek wins 5-4 and a full line brawl at the end. Thought the officiating was pretty bad tonight, lots of missed calls on the Broncos. Oh well, we have a series.

Edmonton beats PA and takes a 2-1 series lead

Seattle giving the #1 seed absolute fits. Series tied 1-1 and they lead 4-3 going into the 3rd period of game 3

Somehow out of all the horse$hit at the end of the Tigers game McKenna ended up with a game misconducton the WHL scoresheet on their website.

We'll have to see how it all shakes out but unless I'm mistaken,a game misconduct in the last 10 minutes of any game results in that player missing the next game.

Haven't seen anything on the WHL twitter account regarding a possible suspension for Gavin McKenna, I guess there's still time, but they are using pretty quick when it comes to handing down supplementary discipline.

Good news all around, I'm thinking Harrison has a bounce back game tonight, can't imagine the emotional roller-coaster he's been through the past 10 days. As for McKenna, the Tigers are a tight knit bunch and they're not going to put up with any nonsense from the Broncos. Feeling good about tonight's game.
