If you don’t want to get scored on keep pushing the opponent into your goalie. No chance of ever being scored on.

Terrible call and it’s really hard to listen to these TNT commentators.

PBP misses a lot, jumps all over the place, and or really doesn’t know how to explain what’s going on. The analysis is non existent outside in mimicing what’s on the screen.

Then I don’t know why they would even make the effort. Why bother?

Outside the crease & initiated by Georgiev coming out too far though

Right on the crease line. Georgiev’s skates were on the line. Duchene was on the outside.

In more positive news, the Wyatt and Logan line looks electric, they seemingly generate chances every shift. Stankovens motor is something else, glad we passed him over because “size”.

It seems like the more dominating teams in the 1st round like Edmonton, Colorado/ Boston are all getting gassed now.

I agree. The biggest tell of a poor PBP for me is when they don't anticipate a chance as it's developing. IE: they sound surprised about a cross-crease onetimer on a drop pass to a trailer on a 3-on-2.

Good PBPs can see the play developing and their call heightens during, not just after something already happened.

Watching these two teams makes the Canucks/oilers series look like drunk toddlers by comparison

What? They totally can overturn the call on the ice. They are just fn
useless. There was nothing inconclusive there, that was clearly a good goal. There is no reasonable explanation why that was not a good goal.

Teams that rely heavily on a top line or are playing teams with more depth.

Dallas is a stacked team

Actually, the initial call was fine because in real time it looked like Georgiev was pushed by a Stars player....but to then see why he was pushed and still call it against the Stars is quite confounding.

I think that is correct, but Duchene was outside the crease, as was the goalie.

That 100% should have been a good goal. Brutal reffing and reviews in this playoffs. Also LOL at Lundquist taking the goaltenders side on this one, there's no way he can be serious
