Hahaha the over reactions have started and people are laying it on thick. We all ‘fan’ differently that’s for sure. I thought the vets looked rusty too tonight and am not going to put much stock into what happened in game 1 of most these guys seasons. Just like I wasn’t planning any parades after last nights good time.

Really like Morin though. He's going to tear apart the Q this year.
I agree, it was choppy. The first period was interesting until the hit on Pelletier and then it was just one PP after another.

Not too many positives for me from this game. I thought Duehr looked good. Aside from that the team just looked frustrated with the forecheck tonight.

It was mostly a snooze fest for me. The PP actually scored 2 goals, but I thought it completely sucked any momentum we had. I hope Pelletier is okay.

Boo Flames lost, but something to cheer us up, Oilers got shutout 5-0 by the Jets.

The highlight for me tonight was seeing someone in the crowd wearing The Why Files hoodie.

If a fast forecheck is going to be the Flames' Achilles heel, they're going to be in for a tough season given the teams that are in their division.

They need to be able to handle systems like Seattles' and trade punches with teams like that, not get picked apart and frustrated by them.

Hopefully Huska is up to the task and has solutions for this team.

Yeah but it wasn't just any pre-season game, it was pre-season game #2. You know what they say about those, right? "It's a career definer".

Worst part of the game was the Pelletier injury

My method involves the seven seas.

Look up KJR 950 Seattle. Maybe there's a website you can tune in on.

Edit: Looks like the iHeart Radio website has it

The play by play is horrible though. They're just talking over the play, not even calling it. I have no idea what's going on on the ice.

I wonder how many people that are being critical of Wolf watched the regular season game against San Jose last season when he played...

Probably a TV/radio simulcast. They forget the people on the radio can't see what's happening.

That's what I'm figuring because this is terrible lol.

These guys are just shooting the #### telling stories. Not a word about the play. Not one.
