the mini game was fun, but kinda waste of a Flames opportunity. so few choices on the 2 Norris squares that a great uniqueness score was pretty impossible

8/9 today but one player I picked for the NYI-LAk is at 0% and only 2 other people took him.

I'm hooked! Have twice been perfect but usually get 7 or 8. Helps to memorize the ones you get wrong for when those connections show up again. Minor annoyance today:

I find Winnipeg to be a very hard team, it seems like they just don't do as many transactions as other teams.

There have been far less trades in the last 10 years then there were in the previous 20 years. So yes, Winnipeg has had far less transactions than many others. Not only that but they do not sign many free agents, and never sign any “over the hill” free agents playing out their careers like say the Coyotes and Panthers, Flyers etc… were famous for.

I try to use Atlanta Thrasher players for this reason, there was more movement then.

Still difficult if you can't remember very many Atlanta Thrashers...
I did manage to fill out a pretty respectable grid (90 uniqueness), but that Thrashers/Jets 2.0 column was dicey.
Took me all friggin' day to think of a Bruin/Jet(/Thrasher).

The Flames just hired one as an assistant coach.

Just discovered a cool feature.
After you finish they show you the grid with all the most popular choices for each square.
Well if you click on the player, it shows you the entire list of correct picks, and the number of people who chose them.

Why is it so hard to think of a Swedish Habs player!?!
Have used 3 Flames connections and a Whalers player though.

By Flames connection do you mean played against them in the cup finals? If so I got the same player and he was the most popular choice
