Good to see him out after getting hurt earlier.

Regardless of the mistakes that will occur with the young players
Except basically the same mistakes happen with the vets. But we ignore them because we are familiar with them, basically.

Watching the replay of the breakaway to end the period I was impressed with how fast Wolf was back in position after coming across his crease as fast as he could to make the save. Very athletic and great habit that probably reduces total goals against over a season.

If Huberdeau is put in the same position and icetime? Yeah, he would probably get about 7 points in 23 games.

He didn't save it did he? Looked like it hit the side of the net

Pelletier played in a good spot when he played

I would have played him more but this is going too far. To suggest if you swapped the 2 there would be no difference is asinine

Was on time delay, Coronato has some pop. His legs are moving faster than he skates though, could see some improvement in the speed there as he continues to develop.

Wolf hasn’t been super tested tonight, but aside from the goal the rebound control has been solid and he’s been in the play. Sharks have missed a few shots that I would have wondered if he would have got to so idk yet. Looking forward to his Wranglers playoffs.

Too much action for him. Had to ring it around the outer galaxy more for his liking. Although, he did like that pointy-eared western Canadian boy from Vulcan.

Yeah, not credited with a save on that one. But IMO he had it covered anyway.

You don’t bring a guy up play him 3 mins on line 4 and then say see? Only 1 point in 20 games! Disingenuous. That’s the best word to describe the Flames handling of rookies this year.
Lol this is going to blow your mind but guess who Pelletier had the most minutes with as a line. It was Huberdeau and Kadri.

The gulf between the NHL and AHL is still large. How many of the top AHL scorers from last year are burning down the NHL. None.

Kadri isn't a good linemate for any player let alone breaking in a rookie.

He should have played with Backlund.

The highest pick in Flames history has a career high of 49 points

Saying that any decent AHLer would have 56 points like Huberdeau does now is just....

Kadri is perfect for introducing the kid to “Flames” hockey

I liked that segment. Jealous of Ryan's signed stick, that is awesome.
