I'll say it until I'm blue in the face, you can't have an experimental lineup at the plate and not expect these types of results. Look at the Yanks - not leaving anything to chance in hoping guys pan out. I'm sure the Jays took a highly analytical approach to who they wanted this off-season but they really looked at getting tons of LHB's at all costs. The banning of the shift was so overrated.

I don't understand the debate here - unless the Jays get some runs and get themselves back into this, I would leave Berrios out there for as many pitches as he can go (90 or 100 or whatever).
Why waste bullpen arms here?

How about we build more than 4 games and two ballparks worth of info before we try to determine that. We haven't even gone once through the rotation yet, and half the ballparks in the league haven't hosted a game yet.
But sure, you're probably right - getting more balance in the lineup was a total failure

Nightmare start to the season. If not for some very unlikely events in game 1 we would be 0-4.
Obviously a ton of runway left but yeah, none of this is good.
