I wouldn't be surprised to see the Raiders select a CB at 7 and trade back into the first round for Hooker if he's available after 20.

Nervous about how my Colts will eff up the #4 pick. Young for sure will go #1. It all depends on who goes 2-3 on how our pick plays out. Most people are saying Richardson or Levis at 4. From those 2 I'd take Richardson. Hopefully Houston does something stupid and doesn't take Stroud.
Anyways, prepared to be disappointed.....

Houston passing on a QB would actually be incredibly wise. Take an elite edge rusher, tank next year for Caleb, profit.

For the Cowboys at 26, I think moving down in the draft makes a lot of sense. There is a ledge of talent that drops off at around the 20th pick and I think they could get better value in the 33-40 range. They don’t have a pressing need that will easily be addressed in round 1.
RB is probably the biggest need (now that they have brought in Brandin Cooks) but I don’t love taking an RB in the first round unless he is so much better than all other positional alternatives that it’s worth spending a first round pick knowing he’ll probably be washed after his first contract. I’d rather take a guy like Steve Avila in the mid thirties and add a 3rd round pick to take a running back like Zach Charbonnet, Devon Achane, or Kendre Miller.

We were discussing this exact possibility last night
Why would Houston take the 2nd best QB and finish …. Still close or at the bottom of the league , then either trade the pick next year or draft a defensive player vs
Drafting a great young D , finishing last , getting the best QB AND an extra year from that QB when the rest of the team should be better

Maybe I am the only one but I am not overly impressed with Stroud at all.

With the OBJ signing and Hopkins trade I doubt they trade Lamar now.

And he's probably laughing at people saying he wouldn't get paid without an agent.

They are trying to dump his contract. The other teams are probably offering late round picks cause they know the Cardinals will eventually just release him.

I was reading that the Cards want out of that 3 spot. They're not as keen on Will Anderson as other teams and they know anyone else who's not a QB in that spot is a reach.

Bryce Young is wearing Kelce's SNL suit? (taken in, of course!)
