Same thing happened last game against the oilers. Short handed rush down the other end and the two forwards caught while the play went up the ice. Pretty sure it was Backlund and Lindholm then too.

Other than the one Oiler goal, the Flames have actually been quite good defensively in this one so far. Oilers haven't really been able to get their loosey goosey run & gun game going. The game has been pretty tight checking for the most part.

Singh pronouncing Kadri normally again. I'm sure production mentioned that.
Anyways, Backs giveth and Backs taketh away. The pass while filled with good intent. Stalled both he and lindholm at the crease and the Oilers had speed and numbers in transition.
Playing well though and hindsight is 2020.

Looks like a typical Oilers game to me. Refs doing all they can to keep their team in it.

Yeah Backs wanted another there and just forgot it was still a penalty kill... the play wasn't a goal and suddenly he's buried, tired, and out of the play.
