Surprising the Flames didn't book out a couple floor of rooms. Edmonton fans are crazy.

amazing how many people here are calling for cheap and dirty shots to hurt players.
not a majority, but a fair number.
I appreciate those who call posters like you out about it.

That's going to light a fire under Backs and Mang.

Taking a while to get to 5000

Glad that didn't escalate into anything worse on either side. Hope the guys add that experience to the already sizable motivation they must have.

Yeah, that seems like pretty poor planning by the Flames. Scummy Dumpsville at its finest there though.

The possession numbers are unsurprising. Stone continues to be the Flames' best possession d-man, although he is getting the most offensive starts on the blueline. Hanifin and Kylington had rough games possession wise. Jarncrok and Lewis are also at the bottom relatively for the Flames.
I was complaining that there weren't enough hits being thrown when the game was already 4-0. Dube has been playing well this series despite having struggling linemates. He led the Flames last night with 6 hits. The guys you'd expect to lead this team in hitting combined for 6. Still disappointed with the checking, especially when you're trying to build momentum into the next game. Maybe they can't catch McDavid, that's fine, hit someone slower?

Yikes, two games in a row the Flames have had serious issues defensively.
Not a great game,
Flames need to find a way to slow down the Oilers star players or it will be a short series

That game had vibes of game 3 against the Avs. Terrible display
Oilers looked dominant against the Kings in game 2 and 3 but LA got back in. Flames need to do the same

Guess we’ll find out what the flames are made of on Tuesday. Down 3-1 or tied 2-2 with home ice advantage.
Game 4 will essentially be the season.

McHobo has given his fair share of cheap shots over the years. His favourite type seems to the elbow to the head. If he gets a good one in return, he deserves it. What goes around, comes around….

Go Flames. Take all their superiority complexes and shove them down their throats.

If Kadri got nothing then Looch is getting nothing. No worries there

As a (former) Alberta, I am utterly embarrassed to be from the same province as Edmonton fans. They are a disgrace.

We have to drag this into the trenches at this point. ##### footing around isn't working. The Grease are skating around the ice with big grins on their faces. I thought we were supposed to be the big heavy playoff team. You hit McD and his sister at every chance.

I'm tired of all the excuses. The Flames are being outplayed at every position. That bad goaltender, "Smith", has out goal tended Markstrom. Their top players showed up and ours haven't. Yes, we miss Tanev but he has nothing to do with Gaudreau, Tkatchuk and Lindholm not scoring. It's not on the middle 6. It's on the big guys to take this team on their backs and win. And some of you want to pay some of these guys 9 million???? Plus, like Sutter said, "stay out of the box".

Do they not teach hip checks anymore? I wondered this last year, but this year McDavid does this move way more, and that's going to the outside and then leaning into a defender to crash the net. If you're going to lean into somebody like that, I don't know why the defenseman doesn't stick his butt out, hip to hip and (at that speed) launch McDavid into the end boards. It would be clean and legal, and after a couple of times McDavid would know not to rush the net. I'm talking about when he starts to go lateral into the defender.

Nah, would have been worse. Losers know when they’re protected, that’s why the goofball is recording. No pro is risking their career by putting some lowlife in his place, and the morons know that. It’s rather Oileresque.
