Can’t believe I have to watch four more games of Kane, Kassian, Nurse, Smith, Draisaitl and Yamamoto and Archibald cheapshotting, Mc30min and Hyman incessant diving, whole team faking obstruction, and Puljujarvi gold mining.

I like how they said something along the lines of how the Flames have better forward depth and if the Oilers get down they might have to stack their top lines.
Lines? It's one line.

Gretzky is coming from a spot of reason and proper analysis. He could've stayed as mascot for the Oilers for the rest of his life and paid more than his TV gig. He chose otherwise.
Spector is doing it so he will appear unbiased so Sportsnet will continue to employ him for R3.

I don’t know how many games it’ll go but I do know Looch is scoring the series winner.
Edmonton becomes the first team in nhl history to have the player responsible for eliminating them on the payroll.
Well, the second if we count Steve Smith. But the first to pay a guy from another team to eliminate them.

At least it should be evenly called, thank eff.
I can't remember if Simpson is a McFondler or not.

Yeah well he picked the Flames to win the Cup before the playoffs and Markstrom to win the Conn Smythe, so I'm glad he's not changing his tune.

Being a BoA in the playoffs, I expect JP to increase his intensity.

Play with urgency but not overly aggressive, they dominated Dallas but some break downs led to some quality Dallas looks in that game 7 (3rd & OT). If we neutralize their transition I don't see how we lose the series (unless the refs take over).
O and for the love of god, protect home ice. No splits after 2. Win both on home ice to start the series.
My heart says Flames in 5, head says 6.

10 Predictions for the series:
1) Oilers will put on a display of embellishment that will embarrass the 2011 Canucks
2) Oiler fans will twist themselves into pretzels, justifying it
3) refs will bite, hook line and sinker, at least for the first couple games
4) Kassian will charge and head hunt, injuring at least one Flame in the first 2 games
5) Draisaitl will spear someone with the end of his stick blade
6) the league won't review either infraction
7) the Oilers win game one, due to shenanigans, and the Flames losing their cool, but the Flames overcome and eventually take over the series
8) Oiler fans will be an embarrassment to hockey and to Alberta
9) Ron McLean will redefine insufferable
10) Flames will advance

I think this is a certainty. If the Flames are sending a ton of shots Smith's way, and with the Oilers dreadful defense actually having to face a for real NHL team unlike the Kings (No insult to the Kings).
He'll be worn down by the end of game 2.

Spector can't lose here as he clearly made the pick hoping that he's 100% wrong. If the Flames win he can say he nailed his prediction and if they lose he play up the ascension of the Oilers greatness and can shill out for them into the next round.
