There are so many rumours flying around right now and very little solid facts.

One fact that we have is that Sloly thought these trucks would come in on a Friday night and leave on Sunday. Yeah, they said they were planning to stay for a month, but he thought that was just posturing by leaders. They said 50,000 trucks were coming. They said a million people were coming. How could you take them seriously? So he brushed off the intel that they would stay past the initial weekend. That mistake alone should have cost him his job.

But what is popping up on Twitter (which of course is the most reliable source of information on the planet) is that he figured these guys would get bored and go home after a week. I mean, they are just standing around drinking and chatting in -25 weather.

The fact that so few trucks actually ended up making the journey should have given the opposite impression; these are the hardest core of the hardcore nuts. Once they started getting attention there was no way they were going to leave on their own.

I'd imagine those trucks cabs are starting to smell pretty bad. I understand they can get a shower occasionally, but the stank has to be building up in there.

It's all rather silly and short sighted. If the goal was to disrupt the system to force change, save your go go juice money. The only place you need to park is your driveway.
If a wheel doesn't turn in this country, 3 days is all it would take.

Are you attempting to repeat the trucker strike nonsense one of these melon heads proposed? Keep in mind 90% of truckers are vaccinated and think these people are idiots, and a good number of them have been pissed off by having their jobs ruined by border closures. The strike would be a laughable failure.

He's not saying truckers as a group of people are nonsense or hold nonsense positions. He's saying it's nonsense to attribute all the problems with the convoys to truckers since none of their associations support these terrorists/occupiers and 90% of truckers are vaccinated and out there working right now. The VAST majority are not holding freedumb parties and acting like dopes of the highest order at border crossings and in Ottawa.

The nonsense idea that they should have a strike. I've seen the idea floated in these protest group chats. It wouldn't have an affect for the reason I explained.
