1. Forge
2. Cavalry
3. Pacific
4. Atletico Ottawa
5. Valour
6. York United
7. HFX Wanderers
8. Edmonton
I think the top 3 will be tight most of the year, Forge may pull away to the end. And then a real dog fight for 4th between Ottawa, Valour, York, and HFX.
Here's hoping Cavalry stay mostly healthy and we rediscover our goal scoring touch. Escalante is my pick for team MVP this year. If he's able to play further up the pitch and not have to cover for injuries on the back end then the delivery and key passes into the box should be a higher standard than they were last year which will help the strikers.
Ughhhh . . . . We're coming a bit limping out of the gate already. Some of these are not minor injuries, we're going to have depth issues here I think:
Goalkeeper Tyson Farago (CAN) is suffering from a back injury as a result of being in a car accident during the off-season. Farago’s return to play is undetermined at this stage.
Tom Field (ENG) recently suffered damage to his knee during a pre-season training session. The left-back will undergo the necessary surgery and rehabilitation process to return to the field as soon as possible.
Joe Di Chiara (CAN) recently suffered damage to his MCL during a pre-season training session. He has a 12-16 week recovery period ahead of him, and is expected back on the pitch before the end of the season.
Anthony Novak (CAN) recently suffered damage to his ACL during a pre-season training session. The striker will undergo the necessary surgery and rehabilitation process to return to the field as soon as possible.

Wow, already? Yeeeesh. Didn't know that about Farago though, poor guy
Not a fan of Di Chiara though, so will be interesting to see who his replacement for the next four months will be. Hopefully Adegkube is good to go!
I thought the club was investing more in physio to PREVENT injuries from piling up? That said, if you were to tell me 4 players would suffer long term injuries, losing these 4 players hurts less than others.
Field is the biggest loss IMO, as he forces Escalante back to LB, which prevents him from getting up the pitch. I think we genuinely have 0 fullbacks signed to this roster. Escalante and Aird will have to do, I guess.
We have 85 DMs signed so the loss of Di Chiara isn't that big of a loss. I've never rated him, so I'm honestly quite happy to see him out. Novak and Farago were going to be depth pieces this year as well. Shame they're injured but they aren't the biggest losses we could get.
I switched to Fubo a few weeks ago and being able to watch other leagues is for sure worth the extra $50. They don't have replays on demand but you can record games and watch them later.
Hopefully this is the start of a really strong midfield partnership with Loturi and Trafford. I think those two can really be the difference makers this season.
