I scrubbed through the video and there are exactly 31 different colour schemes shown. The numbers seem to correspond to the first time the jersey was worn by the team (at least that's my guess).
There are 5 jerseys with "98" on the back in the video:
- Purple and Orange - The Coyotes introduced their 3rd jersey in 1998. Will this be some variation on that but in Phoenix Suns colours?
- Black and Red (with white letters w/ yellow highlights) - Likely the Flames horseheads, although not "reversed".
- White and Grey (with red letters) - ??? I'm not sure who this might be.
- Yellow and Blue - The Preds joined the NHL in 1998.
- Grey and Teal - San Jose changed their jerseys in 1998 to feature more grey than their previous design.

I thought the sharks jersey was that teal “95” one.

So did I at first, but they're the only one who makes sense for the 98.
I think the 95 is Washington. That was the year they switched from the Red, White, and Blue to the Blue and Black colour scheme.

The colours are a little pastel in the video so it is hard to tell. I guess that’s why it’s a “teaser”.
Edit: oh yeah Grey base sharks jersey, that’s definitely what that is. Good catch.

It is difficult to fathom what could possibly be the "reverse" component.
Maybe they're reversing the two logos? Putting the C on the chest and the horse on the shoulders?
It'll be very interesting.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking would be the only "reverse" that would work without changing the colours. Although, I'd prefer a red version of the horse head jersey rather than a black version of the normal jersey.

Yes, I think you're correct. None of the other ones make sense for Detroit.
I believe the blue and grey one with the #70 is Toronto, so it makes sense that they'd use grey as an accent colour for the teams that only have a two-colour palette.
