Really wish players/coaches would sound off on the officials more. Take the fine, maybe it doesn’t endear you them whatever, at least some of the media would be forced to discuss the terribleness. It’s not just Flames games. The reffing is trash across the board.

Not complaining, just calling what I see. Like I said the D and Talbot played great but our top 6 played like AHL’ers, we deserve to be down.

Better effort. Bad calls (really both ways). I’d say Dallas still has the slight edge in effort.

With calls like that I’m quickly moving to don’t care mode.

Not the smartest thing to do by Lindholm, even if the call was soft.
Maybe don't wind up for a big crosscheck next time.. especially when it's during play.

Yeah, I think that's what it came down to.

That back ref saw them going at it back and forth after Lindholm's hit in the corner.

Lindholm finishes it off with a big wind up, in full view of the ref. Doesn't make much contact but it's a dumb play.

That's also known as gaining body position. Get your arms and shoulders in front of the other guy. Sometimes you might do it a little forcefully...it is playoffs after all.

#### these refs. That's an absolute clownshoe call.

Maybe the NHL should just drop the pretense and just award each team two PPs per period, by default.

I think one solution to this problem would be that if the ref is not in the same zone as an infraction he cannot make the call. An exemption for major penalties of course.

But seriously. Lots of times the back official calls some BS call because they can barely see the play. I think that could cut back on some of the phantom calls.

If you have your stick in the air and it doesn't hit anyone its not a high sticking penalty

If he goes for a tomahawk slash and misses someone is that not a call?

The refs are kinda useless at the best of times. Why bother.

That call was also absolutely horrible but we need our top 6 to play way better than that.
