Yes, definitely nostalgia but it's my era so I love them.

Can't decide who to throw on my heritage classic jersey from last season. Was leaning Coronato but after having Monahan and Tkachuk jerseys previously I think I want someone signed long term. Already have a Huby and Weegar. The Mrs. wont let me get Zary because "thats her guy"

Would go with Backlund, nice to have that jersey with captain C on it. It doesn't hit the long term note you wanted but with Backlund it will be a timeless sweater.

Kind of random but I'm a Calgary Flames and Texas Rangers fan. Was gifted the two signed Flames jerseys and stumbled upon the Juan Gonzalez jersey.
Next to be framed and go up will me a Cape Breton Eagles Luke Patterson jersey. But that's another story.
In terms of Flames jerseys I have a ton but not nearly as cool or photogenic as the signed ones.

I had almost the same beer / keg setup 15 years ago.
Old Kelvinator single door refrigerator painted red with OTTO and 29 on the back and autographed. I drilled the hole through the side though and had the taps on a counter top beside the fridge.
