Brouwer has been an enormous disappointment. It's pretty clear he has no shame. Just in it for the paycheque
It is an absolute travesty that he has a letter.

Put him in the AHL

And then stick him on the 4th line

Show the prospects what should happen to players that don't care

Ah clearly you know more than pretty much every single guy who reports on the team, calls the games and travels with the team. Yup. they're all wrong.

And to be prefectly fair, it's not like the whole MVP thing was gurgling up from the outside of the organization. And Many people Had Smith as their MVP by a razors edge over Gaudreau. It's perfectly fine to have Gaudreau oer Smith but don't discredit what Smith did before the ASG break. He masked far too many holes.

At a STH luncheon right before the season BT was actually pretty honest about Brouwer. He admitted that Brouwers season was horrible and that the team expected a big bounce back year from him. He said it in a nicer way, of course, but BT is well aware of Brouwer’s play.
