Kulak and Wotherspoon are better than Wideman any day. We are losing this game because of 1 loser.

Bennett needs to see the skybox again. Invisible unless he is taking bad penalties

Generally, yeah. Though they scored 3 even strength vs MIN last game.

I think the 4 game losing streak where they let in 20 goals immediately preceding the All-Star Break, Wideman continually being rewarded for absolutely heinous play, their anaemic, unprepared start to the season, and generally uninspired play for 60% of the season might have something to do with it, bud.

Wideman is almost single-handedly costing us this game. Fer christ sakes, what will it take to bench this guy?

Bennett, Brodie and Wideman are liabilities.

Really sucks that two of those are supposed to be pillars of this team going forward.

He's responsible for one goal because he wasn't sneaky enough on a scramble play where Backlund had no stick, Elliott was out of position, and the Devils had a great chance. He was legit hit from behind, and either hit the post or accidentally on purpose did. Most of the time that penalty isn't called and there was only going to be a minute of PK if it is.

The other goals were not on him. The first, Brouwer loses the puck the wrong way and no one had Henrique on the left side. And Elliott lost track of the puck. The second, he has his man, Brouwer loses his and Elliott isn't over in time.

Elliott played great in the first, but if anyone is responsible it's him, and the whole team for playing a lot softer in the second.

3 of them against very tired Wild and very bad Devils? Its a joke.
Only 1 bad period? You forgot recent loss vs Oilers?

10 minutes ago we were in full control of the game...

I just can't agree that Brodie has been worse than Wideman. Not even close.

Wideman is a disaster.

Bennett's been just fine.

Brodie's just been bad because of Wideman.

Watch that play again. That was a justifiable penalty because Jokipakka/Engelland were getting pylon'd.

Kind of makes you think how this team would look with a competant top-4 defenseman and goalie

Get off it. Bennett saved a goal by taking that penalty. Engelland and Joki were chasing.

He said seven straight periods followed by one bad one. That would be the Ottawa and Minnie games plus the first tonight.

The Oilers loss was three games before that.
