Hamilton had more than his share of horrible defensive zone play earlier this year and last. Those just aren't happening much now.

But to answer your question, there are still guys on this team that can play better. I think that's a good sign.

The Hamilton and Giordano pairing has been a revelation. I honestly didn't think Dougie had it in him to play this well at such a high level. But I'm glad I was wrong on that front as this duo has been truly a top pair with their strong two way play. Gio's defensive game might be the best I've ever seen from him. I'm hoping Brodie can pick up his play to what we saw from him early last year or in the playoffs in 2015, then I'd really be impressed.

Im one of the biggest hamilton detractors out there but he has been playing lights out lately, as has THE WHOLE TEAM. I think the reason why i dislike him so much is cause when he is struggling and not playing well its really noticeable. Hopefully he keeps this play up and is a little more consistent

Right there in the post he quoted and he still couldn't resist doing it.

Well what's wrong with that? An opinion of a player isn't going to change absolutely because of a few games. Take some player like Rene Bourque, he is about as lazy a player as they come. When he manages to pull himself together every few months and contribute, should all of his detractors eat crow? I don't see the issue with waiting for a while to see some consistency in their play before coming around on a player.

The people who were spouting off nonsense about Hamilton are like Edmonton fans, only poking their head in to beat their chest when there's some sort of consistency with their sentiment but then disappearing completely when things aren't going their way.

Someone should start a "The Whoas! of TJ Brodie" thread and then fingers crossed for similar results. Anyways thankfully Hamilton's play has more than made up for the lack of production from Brodie.

I think we should turn on Dougie because he didn't get a hat trick.

Dougie has 4 goals and 7 assists and is a staggering +14 in the last 13 games. It's amazing to see what he can do with a bit of confidence.

Trade'em. He's over paid and clearly Boston saw something that Brad and Co never. Boston pulled the wool over Brad's eyes and now we have to dump him and his salary before his value drops even more.

Criticism of the player when he's not playing great is fine, and expected.

It's the idiotic statements like "he probably would pass through waivers" or "I'd almost rather have Reinhardt (lol wtf spelling)" that are embarrassing and should be mocked mercilessly.
