Werner was a great quiet pick up. He's going to be one of the "got in the late rounds" goalies. I was hoping for him in the 6th or 7th. Maybe Vehvilainen

I still think we send wides down the road for yaks. Theyget there D we get a good foward who definitely needs a change of scenery.but I think here is not far enough away from deadmonton .I think yaks needs to go to a market with not a lot of media

HockeyDB doesn't show his Grand Rapids stats. 19g 48pts this year.

If gambling is the Flames thing in the 6th like Mangiapane. I hope Tuulola and Solokov are picked. Sokolov really came around in the 2nd half of his season once he started taking things more seriously, has some body issues like Andersen did last year that pushed him down the rankings. Best sniper still available is Solokov.
Tuulola, big 6'3" RH RW who showed well in the U-18's. Scored a couple big goals for Finland.

Kind of frustrating.

Tkachuk and Treliving have talked about Tkachuk being able to play RW.
We addressed wing with our first pick. You're just too hung up on right shooters to notice we got a guy who could be our next great RW. Smart wingers can swap wings quite easily.
You draft the best wingers you can and let the coach sort out which ones should play their off wing.

Even though Calgary already picked up an undersized D-man in Fox, I'd still like to take a flyer on Pasichnuk.

Tuulola would be a good gamble too. I liked Malenstyn as well but he just went. Griffin Luce is still available I think and Aapeli Rasanen

Leafs draft Jonathan Walker with the first pick in the 6th round.
I guess you could call him Johnnie Walker Blue Label.

Tuulola, Falkovski and Solokov would all be interesting picks.
