Oh man so true. I legit thought at first maybe they'd spoken to him and been like "dude, you are coming across as a total tool, calm it on down and just eat some humble pie".
Instead he doubled down and went full ahole. It's funny because when Zak first went off, I was like oh Paulie is taking this all pretty good. Especially when she really went off and started swearing at him. But nope, he couldn't just take the punishment and let her be the bad guy. He had to outshine her in some sort of petty dick swinging contest in front of millions of people.

Paulie should've been on Jersey Shore, he would fit in well

After the first clip when they said everyone had calmed down I thought maybe they'd have figured things out and then we were subjected to that hilariously awkward speech from Paulie about taking over the house when he gets back. What a bunch of losers. I can't believe there are people out there, like Michelle, that worship these idiots.

Uh, did you see the way Paulie treated Z and talked about her in the house? What she said wasn't petty at all. If anyone was petty, it was Bridgette.

His own brother said he deserved to get dragged like he did. There's no way she's the bad guy in that situation

I honestly think they are both terrible people and frankly they kind of deserve each other.
Based on what we saw from both of them I can't imagine defending either of them.
But yeah Z totally embarrassed herself, just like Paulie did.

Gotta agree with Mach, Z was pretty tame all things considered
Crazy how different Paulie and his brother turn out to be, Cody seemed very kind and respectful. I think being in his bros shadow really hurts Paulies ego

Maybe you read different live updates but everything I read made Z and Paulie both sound horrible. Feel free to post some sort of defense for her though but I'm not sure how it'll negate her actions. Seems like a bizarre debate anyway. Who was a less horrible person, who cares they both suck.

Yeah don't worry about it. I don't think it is anything worth getting bent out of shape over. We all have our favourites. You're free to like Zakiyah or hate Paulie or both.
Agree to disagree.

I don't particularly like either of them, but I do think it's interesting how Z has been villainized for doing next to nothing, while others have said and done horrible things with little backlash
Anyways....Never cared

Ok can you share some of this other dirt? You can keep saying that I need to just read the updates, but I do. And I'm not seeing hardly any of the controversy that we had in previous seasons. There was the bullying of Bridgette and there was Paulie leading on Zak and acting like a machismo dickhead. What am I missing? I honestly don't get why you are so reticent about sharing this information.

She bullied Bridgette big time and the reason they likely didn't air that stuff is because it would have put the show in a bad light. I'm not defending Paulie's actions towards her but she's not what I would call a nice person and I would hope the school she's teaching at didn't see the live feeds as tough to teach kids not to bully when in real life the teacher is in fact a bully.

Yep. That kind of makes me want Paul and Vic to make it to the end even more now. Production interference has ruined this game several times before so I'm against anything they want. I'm pretty sure the care package was rigged as well, there's no way boring Corey get more votes than the other two based on fan reaction so far. And they definitely wanted a James or Nicole HoH this week because the competition was one that James had already won, and it was something Nicole would do really well in.
Nicole's finally shown some good strategy with her wanting to keep the other two pairs for another week so they can target each other, securing another week for her and Corey to fly by.
If Meech wins veto and James goes up, it would be fitting for James to go out on the losing end of a broken deal. Pretty poor gameplay by him to give up the HoH and by Nat to openly say that they wanted to keep Victor before the eviction.
And James should've noticed Nat's passive aggressive attitude towards him after he didn't win for her, but he's completely hopeless at this point.
Paul's choice of words to Michelle was unacceptable. But it looks they already patched things fairly quickly on the feeds.

Interesting on the production influence, I wonder how exactly they would do that - haul them into the diary room individually and make suggestions on how to get further?

In the past I've heard that is what they do. Just pull you in the room and ask you a bunch of leading questions and talk about how it would be better to go along with person x.
I've also heard production really pushes people to game for votes even when they know they are evicted.
Take Meech this week. If she is the target and she knows she is going out, they will tell her she has to campaign and not just sit around and mope or have fun until eviction night.
They need enough video of her campaigning so that the first 30 mins of the live show can have that filler to build tension.

Meech went out with a bang last night, insulting almost everyone on her way out the door. She's much more catty than I thought. If James or Natalie don't win the HOH comp they are definitely going on the block

I expect James is on his way out if he or Natalie don't win HOH. I don't exactly know what he was doing this week not fighting harder for Michelle as he just laid back and let Paul and Victor run the week as Nichole and Corey not only kept them safe but even gave Victor $5k. They are running the house now.

I think the only hope that James and Natalie have is if the other two pairs turn on each other because those 4 are clearly more capable of winning. If I was Nicole/Corey or Victor/Paul, I'd be thinking that I had a better chance of beating James/Natalie than the others.
