This was the ultimate troll job by the PM actually. The focus should have squarely been on him but other people, including rival parties have managed to look way more idiotic after the incident... bravo Trudeau!

I wonder what the public reaction would have been had he just said "ya, I bumped into her by accident and I grabbed that guy's arm because these guys were delaying a vote in a childish manner. Deal with it."
Are these cringe worthy apologies meant to highlight NDP pettiness knowing they would refuse to accept? This is so embarrassing on so many levels.

That John Oliver clip really sums up everyone's thoughts on this internationally quite well. Basically "Yeah, he probably shouldn't have done what he did, but what in the serious **** were the NDP doing there?".
In Canada it's being made out as both sides were bad, everywhere else it's being called for what it is - an absolute joke on the part of the opposition to create the ruckus with childish BS and then take a bunch of Lebron James style dives when the PM entered, THEN further went on to make the most hyperbolic assertion and comments they could possibly make, thinking they hit a home run to attack the PM with.
I went back and forth at first, but after a week you can see this was a complete gongshow beginning and ending with the NDP, with a little slip up by the PM in between - However, it's pretty clear they were baiting and prepared for the slip up. Brutal.

It's too bad John Stewart's gone and that the Daily Show has become a bit of a footnote, as I didn't even notice that they actually did a 12 minute segment on our Prime Minister's handling of the Syrian Refugee program including an interview with Justin. It absolutely blasted the Unites States and everything they claim to be built on as a country in the process. Really awesome piece if you have the time.
I'm really sick and tired of how shows from the USA have to talk about all the stupid stereotypes of Canada every time they do a bit about our country. If it isn't about beer or all the apologies it's about moose or our accent. It has grown stale.

You don't think they get tired of the US stereotypes? It goes both ways. Our accent, apologetic nature, beer consumption, etc is what it is.

Canadians are WAY worse in their attitudes towards Americans than they are to us.
