Didn't start well for the Panthers, but they withstood the early pressure and energy from the Islanders, including a key penalty kill.
Picked up their energy in the 2nd half of that period, and on a beauty shot by Huberdeau lead 1-0 on the road in a do-or-die game.
Good start, now they have to keep working and find a way to add to their lead.

Some great passing on the PP here. Islanders have such an exceptional PK. It's been the difference in this series.

Obviously it was an accident, but still a penalty. That's how goals are scored. Probably didn't help that Hudler went down like a ton of bricks on that hooking penalty and immediately looked at the ref.

No, it's not a penalty, it's incidental contact and a "no call", especially in a playoff game where a team can be eliminated. Both guys went down. No harm, no foul. Move on.
But no, have to call an interference penalty even though Hudler did nothing but keep gliding the direction he was already going, immediately after dishing the puck behind him.
It was a bad call, and not the first in this series.
