FWIW, prior to the Wideman incident the Flames were short handed 115 times over 48 games which equates to 2.4 times/game.

Since the Wideman incident, the Flames have been short handed 54 times in 15 games which equates to 3.6 times/game. That stat does not include tonight so that number will go up slightly.
