Haha, the Canucks can't get rid of Hamhuis. Insiders reckon he won't waive to go to Pittsburgh or Boston. If I was him, I would, as long as it was with a promise from the Canucks that he would be allowed to return. I mean, he would only be gone 4 months, it's not that long surely?
Can just imagine how desperate Benning is now, so funny.

If you read between the lines, Hamhuis would love to be in that scenariobut doesn't trust that the Canucks management will follow through.
He's not willing to do them a favour.
