JMO, I don't even think VIII will surpass TFA. That movie was so eagerly awaited and bridged 2 generations of fans. It satisfied the old junkies and we will be less inclined to go multiple time to the next one, and it built fans but they have so many other distractions the series won't draw them in as easily. They won't be rabid for it.

Oh, no question, and the future films likely wont unless they do something that completely knocks it out of the park.

Which isnt out of the question. The Evil Empire is renowned for large displays of grandiosity.

I didn't know they had an affair at all, is this news? Or just the details of the affair would be news?

Either way she describes Ford exactly how he comes across in interviews, pained to talk even for a few minutes.

I think it is news - she kept it quiet because she was 19, and he was over 30 and married.

This recently came out. I love how she went to Ford and his response was simply "lawyer".

Anyone who's read any of Carries books will tell you that she's extremely talented as a writer and any interviews she's extremely funny.

She did a one woman play on broadway on her life and it was shown on HBO and it was fantastic.

The Last Word: Carrie Fisher on LSD, Death and Sex With Han Solo

'Star Wars' actor talks about new memoir, why she still loves her ex Paul Simon's music and that long, long ago affair with Harrison Ford

The Death Star from Star Wars would cost $7.7 octillion to operate for just one day

Destroying planets and feeding a crew of two million doesn't come cheap

Palpatine was really upset when he found out that the death star was blown up by a bunch of teenagers. you'd think he'd be ecstatic though, I mean he blew up Alderaan and that thing was probably insured .

But the nerd in me is wondering if those costs are accurate. i mean the Death Star was powered by a hypermatter reactor which is the ultimate renewable energy source as it harvested hypermatter from hyperspace and then annihilated it inside a giant containment sphere.

Basically it was a star inside of the death star.

Probably pretty low emissions as well. You can say a lot of things about the Empire. they killed people, enslaved aliens took away individual liberties, but environmentally they were probably low emissions. Yup no climate change in the GFFA, well except for Alderaan that is.

They changed that climate...they changed it hard.

Disney played 28 minutes of footage to reporters on Friday. May want to avoid any Rouge 1 stories in case of spoilers

As I'm sure everyone knows Mads Mikkelsen has a role in this movie.

Today I learned that his older brother, the Russian president from house of cards, played Admiral Thrawn in Star Wars Rebels.

Coincidence? Almost certainly. But is kinda interesting nonetheless.
