I think it's a good thing we haven't seen that much tonight. In the past, he has had a tendency to take himself out of the play to make a big hit.
If he's going to make it, he needs to learn how to pick his spots better.

For sure. The guys on Fan 960 summed it up pretty well earlier. He needs to make a physical statement, but not like past pre-seasons, where he's gone out of his way to try and make a physical statement.

He has 6 on the scoresheet, the most on either team. If you include shot attempts that didn't count as official shots, 10 is probably a good guess.
