To the select few who are so easily panic-ed... if you find yourself asking "Should we be worried about..." and the rest being anything that's happened in the last ten days, then the answer is a resounding no. And you need to relax.

I'm almost positive Bennett could go scoreless this whole preseason and START with the team. Obviously if he doesn't start the season off well even after that, then it makes sense but he has too much talent.

Yes, sorry I was including the youngstars game.
I'm just worried the expectations for this kids are too high. I think he plays with lots of jam and definitely drives the net but we're just not seeing the points. Will a slow start effect his confidence and his future.

As long as everyone doesn't get as hyped as they did when Baertschi came up from the minors for those few games. I think we are all okay.

Don't get me wrong, I though he played well in the playoffs but the points were not there.

He's been practically invisible in half the pre-season games so far. Disappointing for sure.

Remember when Gaudreau had zero points and 2 shots after 5 NHL games?

Strange, I wonder who that guy who's playing like a pitbull wearing No. 93 every time he's in the offensive zone crashing people after the puck. Talk about just looking at a stat sheet.

A slow start would be 5-10 games into the regular season.
It's really bizarre to be worrying about statistics one split squad game into the pre-season (yes, I know he played in the Young stars tournament, but that is no gauge whatsoever as it pertains to putting up points in the NHL).

Took that to include the Young Stars games, where I thought he was very good despite not showing up on the score-sheet.

Kulak was studly again last night. I don't think I'd be out of line to say he, along with Mangiapane, have been the two best prospects in camp so far, including the Youngstars Tourny.

Yes, Andersson for sure. Kylington to a lesser extent for me. His D zone play hasn't been as good as Andersson's IMO.

Also impressed with Kulak. Very heady player, with the hands and wheels to make a go of it . You can't teach his hockey sense, which is natural; put it together with a good skill set and it becomes just a matter of experience. He'll play in the NHL I feel quite sure.

I think they have to be happy with his performance at camp by the sound of it. Mangiapane has to feel positive about the experience.
