Taking a look through this RFA list on HF and there is slim pickings as expected. Plus the Flames already have like 5 too many bottom six players on NHL contracts.

Now, I don't expect any interest in any of these guys, just a little list.
Forward
Eric Tangradi: Big winger (6'4, 220), which the Flames have said they would like. Really good defensively but next to no offence with him. Depth option.
Luke Adam: Boy has he fallen since the Regehr for Adam rumours. Average size. Started his career very brightly with 1.1 pts/gm as an AHL rookie but seems to be regressing quickly. Probably close to heading overseas now.
Dana Tyrell: Local kid, close to his family. Speed for days but hasn't translated his offence from junior - never really recovered from devastating knee injury in World Junior camp. Other knee and ankle injuries since. Tough to see a player's career ruined via injury, but probably Europe-bound as well.
Matt Fraser: Red Deer kid, Flames fan growing up. Also really close to his family. Great shot. Good AHL numbers but hasn't translated that to the NHL - played 4th line in Boston then got stuck in Edmonton last year, so has looked worse than he is.
Defence
Mark Barberio: Solid #6/7 guy. Tough to crack Tampa's defence and likely no room in Calgary either.
Jon Blum: Former first-rounder. Brings some offence but plays extremely soft. One last shot before heading overseas?
Conor Allen: Tough to crack the Presidents Trophy-winning Rangers' blue line but got some games. Has some offence skills and plays mean. A good depth option or #6/7.
Viktor Svedberg: Didn't crack Chicago's lineup despite all their playoff injuries but was one of the Black Aces. He's big. Really big. 6'9, 235, and by all accounts just getting comfortable with his size. Flames like big depth guys. Potential?
Taylor Doherty: Like, Svedberg, he brings size and not much else. 6'7, 235, and shoots right handed which is becoming a wanted commodity.
Goaltender
Mark Visentin: Former first-rounder and Canadian World Junior gold medal game starter. Has played awful in his pro career to date, but he's just 22. Perhaps a shot to see if he has some potential left.
