I was just thinking that something is definitely different with the ice quality tonight. Lots of bouncing pucks and players falling for no reason, on both sides.

Poor team effort. Shake off the first period.

Ha. Ha. Bennett hits a Sedin, he goes down (obviously) and everyone complains. Including Hughson and Simpson. Go Benny!

That's almost as good as the Canucks can play and nearly as poorly as the Flames can. And the Canucks had the only PP.
Knew they'd push to start the game, they had to. Being up 2-0 after that isn't really that terrible. Lots of time left and the Flames won't play that badly from here on out.

Flames are pretty much done here. Uberbrutal period. They're unable to do anything.

"I bet you the Sedins room together"
“well yeah, that’s the Sedins”
“who knows what else they do together”
“Don’t they shave the exact same…”
“Dude, it’s creepy. In fact, it’s a good example to future brothers in the NHL on how not to do things. In my opinion. That’s just something uhh..”
“Are they weird?”
“Ah I dunno.. they look funny, they look weird”

Did we really play that poor I thought we got the game back but we just made dumb unforced errors with the puck in the offensive zone. Matt stajan set the tone with brutal no look passing and everyone followed him by trying to make 50 passes.
We need to get pucks on net and drive for rebounds.

BTW, am I the only one who thought that wideman penalty was a soft as hell call?

How? He batted the puck directly out of play. That's a penalty every time.

terrible period. flames don't look sharp whatsoever.
weathering the inevitable storm was needed, and the flames coaching/team were dominated.
Cant really blame hiller, though he looked like crap on the goals. curious to see how the flames come out this second period.
